INEC Fixes Date To Resume Results Collation In Abuja

The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Mahmood Yakubu, has said the commission is experiencing security issues in four Local Government Areas in Imo State.

Yakubu stated this on Saturday during a media briefing at the National Collation Center located inside the International Conference Center in Abuja.

The INEC boss said the four local governments in Imo experiencing security issues are Orlu, Osu, Oguta, and Okigwe.

According to Yakubu, security operatives in the state are currently addressing the challenges, adding that voters who are on the queue before 2;30 pm will be allowed to vote.
