The Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, has finally cast his vote in the ongoing elections after hours of delay.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after casting his vote at Ozuh Omuma ward 10, polling unit 010, Uzodimma expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the 2023 election.

The governor also hailed the introduction of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS), saying that the machines have worked perfectly well.

Naija News reports that the INEC officials arrived at approximately 10:30 am while voting commenced at 10:55am at the voting center.

The governor, who arrived at the polling unit in the company of his wife, Chioma Uzodimma, described the BVAS as “the best for now.”
