‘We Still Waiting For Northern APC Govs To Betray Tinubu’- Keyamo Mocks PDP

The Chief Spokesman of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC PCC), Festus Keyamo, has mocked the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over a recent claim.

Naija News recalls that the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation (PDP PCO) had claimed that some Nothern APC Governors are working for the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

One of its spokesmen, Daniel Bwala, alleged that 37 senators and 15 House of Representatives elected under the platform of APC are working for Atiku’s victory.

But in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle on Thursday, Keyamo stated that the opposition party resorted to fake news in order to keep their hopes alive.

Keyamo said the PDP claimed that the Northern governors would betray the APC standard bearer, Bola Tinubu, and some leaders of the ruling party will defect to the PDP.

The Minister of State for Labour and Employment added that the ruling party is still waiting for the alleged betrayal of the governors, two days before the presidential election.

He wrote: “In the past few months, in order to keep hopes alive, the PDP lied to its supporters that there would be a last-minute betrayal of @officialABAT by the Northern APC Govs. and stakeholders who would defect en masse to PDP. 48 hours to voting, we’re still waiting for the ‘betrayal’”
