Joke Silva Prays For Tinubu/Shettima Ahead Of 2023 Polls

Veteran Nollywood actress, Joke Silva ahead of the Saturday election has taken to her social media to say a word of prayer for the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.

The actress who marked four decades of acting recently and had countlessly pledged her support for the former Lagos governor shared photos from the grand Lagos rally held days back, noting that her principal fought well and will be granted the ticket.

She captioned the photo: “The Grand Lagos Rally is the last of the presidential rallies for the APC. It has been a well-fought contest by our principal Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. And by God’s Grace, the ticket is his and Shettimas. As usual with @kemskis and my big Sis H.E Mrs Adejoke Orelope Adefulire SA to the President on SDGs. Thanks, ladies for everything”.

Joke Silva Pledges Support For Tinubu

Joke Silva on October 2022, publicly made known her intentions to campaign for All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.

Naija News reports that the veteran actress was among the Nollywood stars who had publicly declared support for Tinubu.

She also joined the wife of the Lagos State Governor, Ibijoke Sanwolu and other women in the Lagos rally.

The veteran also took to her Instagram page to share photos and videos of the APC women’s rally at Onikan Stadium.

Despite the series of attacks online from many youths and fans, the actress turned off her comment section as she may not want to respond to attacks from netizens.

She captioned the posts: “@kemskis and 1At Onikan Stadium for the women’s APC rally. The HCC old girls Dr(Mrs)Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, @kemskis and myself. We co-opted Mrs Hamzat. Lagos Women March for APC. And this is only the women oh”
