After Failing To Get Her Colleagues Support, Funke Akindele Makes Public Appeal

Nollywood actress cum politician, Funke Akindele has made a public appeal ahead of the general elections after failing to gain the support of her colleagues in the movie industry.

Naija News understands that the Lagos State deputy gubernatorial candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP) and most of her colleagues has been politically divided following their support for their preferred presidential and governorship candidate.

Despite the inability of the award-winning actress to garner support needed from her movie colleagues, she forges on, by seeking that of the general public.

In a video shared across her social media handles, Funke Akindele was seen educating her fans on how to vote for her party at the coming election.

The box office queen after detailing the right way and approach to make a valid vote for her party, pleaded to her fans to vote her party across all position.

She captioned the post “The general elections are finally here!!

“Yes, we’ve all been sensitized on how important it is for us to vote wisely at a time like this, however, it is also imperative that we all are properly educated on how to make our votes count without errors.

“Your votes in the coming election will determine the future of our great country, Nigeria. So let’s make it count!”
