Commotion As Naira Marley Performs At Tinubu’s Grand Finale Rally

There was a commotion on Tuesday at the Teslim Balogun stadium in Lagos State, venue of the grand finale of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign rally.

As expected, the rally attracted a huge crowd and had several side attractions, including live music performances from some popular names in the entertainment industry such as Naira Marley.

Naija News gathered that things took a turn for the Soapy crooner shortly after he got off the stage and was mobbed  by irate fans who had stormed the venue.

Apparently, the individuals had demanded monetary handouts from the rapper who wasn’t forthcoming. It was equally gathered that security operatives eventually waded into the matter and escorted the rapper to safety.

The text of the speech by the presidential candidate of the APC, Bola Tinubu during Tuesday’s grand finale mega rally in Lagos State has emerged.

As earlier reported by Naija News, Tinubu and other stalwarts of the APC including President Muhammadu Buhari converged on the Teslim Balogun Stadium for a mega rally ahead of the 2023 general elections.

They were received by a mammoth crowd of supporters and party loyalists.

Speaking during the rally, Tinubu appreciated President Buhari for giving him support, trusting him, and laying a strong foundation for the APC.

The former Lagos State Governor promised that if he emerges as President, he would work hard for Nigeria just as Buhari worked hard for him.

Tinubu said the time has not come for a victory speech but appreciated Buhari for the confidence reposed in him all through the process.
