Police PRO Reacts As Lady Body Shames The IG Of Police

The Spokesperson of the Nigerian Police Command, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi has replied to a lady who body-shamed the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba.

This comes after the spokesmen via the microblogging platform, Twitter on Saturday shared photos showing the moment the IGP led senior officers to Range Practice in Abuja.

Reacting to the post, a lady simply identified as Wendy wrote: ”Who be this one wey fat like corruption? See stomach see Yansh.”

Replying to the lady, Adejobi wrote: “You need to pray so that you be like him or anyone you are close to, be fulfilled like him. A blessing to his generation and many in Nigeria. Now you look at him and make such a comment. I pray that when you grow to his age and status, you will be able to bend.”

Shun Divisive, Crisis-Prone Utterances, Police Warn Nigerians

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Police Force has cautioned Nigerians against the use of divisive comments and utterances capable of heating the polity ahead of the February 25, Presidential election.

The advice is amid prevailing outcries and reactions by some Nigerians and political actors concerning the Naira redesign policy and its effects.

The police in a statement, signed by its Spokesperson, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi on Saturday said seditious utterances are bound to trigger a crisis in the nation.

“The NPF, therefore, charges the citizenry of Nigeria to remain calm and embrace peace as the Federal Government has assured that it is taking the bull by the horn, assiduously to address the scarcity of naira and fuel and restore normalcy in all sectors,” the statement read.
