Titi Abubakar, the wife of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar,  was seen soliciting for votes in Igbo language for her husband ahead of the forthcoming general elections to hold this month

Abubakar made the appeal during a PDP campaign advert that surfaced on social media on Wednesday.

Titi, in the video, listed things her husband (Atiku) will do for the electorates, adding that he would make life easy for them if he is voted into power.

She asserted that there is more to benefit women and youths if her husband is given the mandate to run the affairs of the country as Nigeria’s next President.

Speaking in Igbo language, she said: “Am your sister, Amina Titi Abubakar. Am passionate about thing that concern the women and youths. Please my people, vote for my beloved husband, Atiku Abubakar during the 2023 general elections. My husband has a good heart, he will bring prosperity to our beloved country Nigeria.”

According to her, the former Vice President has the capacity to reposition the country when he voted as president, therefore electorates should not doubt what he has to offer.
