Nigeria Professional Football club Kwara United have confirmed the appointment of Kabiru Dogo as the club’s manager.

Dogo takes over as the new coach at Kwara United in place of Abdulazeez Mohammed.

Mohammed announced his resignation from Kwara United after the team’s 2-0 loss to Nasarawa United on Saturday at the New Jos Stadium.

Dogo was most recently the head coach of Bauchi State’s Wikki Tourists.

With his new position, there is hope that he can help the Ilorin-based team elevate their performance and move up the NPFL log.

His first game as Kwara United’s manager will be a midweek encounter against Remo Stars of Ogun State.

After the other group match between ASEC Mimosas and Motema Pembe ended scoreless in Abidjan, Diables Noirs gained an early lead in the competition.

On Sunday, Rivers will play host to ASEC Mimosas at Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
