#NigeriaDecides: Peter Obi Floors Tinubu, Atiku, Wins Presidential Election In Plateau

Nollywood actress, Chioma Grace Ifemeludike has mocked the supporters of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi saying their followership is ‘zombie-like.’

The ‘Obedient’ as they are fondly called are majorly youths who are exhausted by the unprecedented level of insecurity, record inflation and unemployment rates and many other issues, who are backing the Labour party’s presidential candidate against two septuagenarian political heavyweights.

Crying out on her Instagram page, Ifemeludike said the Nigerian people are following the same patterns and sentiments that played out before, Muhammadu Buhari, the sitting president was elected in 2015.

She maintained that people whose choice of candidacy does not tally with the ‘trend’ should not be bullied or seen as unreasonable, adding that there is no beauty in democracy without diversity.

She wrote: “If you’re not supporting Peter Obi, you are seen as losing rational reasoning, but if you support him you are automatically accepted. This is a zombie kind of followership naw! This is not a movement of the mass force, please.

“All I see here are same patterns and sentiments that played out in 2015 before we elected president Buhari and his clueless team. The only difference this time is a tribe and “go and verify” syndrome.”

“If you are part of us you’re reasonable if not you’re unreasonable if you’re part of us you’re a saint if not you’re corrupt. What then is the beauty of democracy without diversity? Why are we going in a circle and repeating the same mistakes all over again? Why can’t we break this old order!? And breakout from this political slavery!”

She further encouraged her followers to vote for a leader and not a trend.

“Vote a leader, not a trend, vote your conscience, not to belong or score points,” she wrote.
