Nigerian forward, Odion Ighalo believes that his team, Al-Hilal, could beat UEFA Champions League winner, Real Madrid in the FIFA Club World Cup final later tonight.

At 20:00 tonight, Ighalo will lead Al-Hilal to take on the Spanish giants at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Morocco to win the world title for the Saudi Arabian club.

It won’t be simple, though, as the 14-time UEFA Champions League winners are accustomed to success and will be eager to add to their collection of championship titles.

Salem Al Dawsari’s two penalties and Luciano Vietto’s close-range goal helped Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal defeat South American champions Flamengo 3-2 on Tuesday to go to the Club World Cup final.

After overcoming the African champions Al Ahly 4-1 on Wednesday, Madrid advanced to the championship game.

Tonight’s game bears an even more personal significance for Ighalo, who will be eager to take the chance to lift the first intercontinental trophy of his career.

“This is a very ambitious club. They don’t understand losing. Since I joined, every tournament we go out there to win. The league, the Champions League, the King’s Cup, the Club World Cup. Every game we play is like a final. When you put on the shirt of Al Hilal, you always have to win. We want to go for every trophy. It’s the same for this Club World Cup,” Ighalo told fifa.com ahead of the game.

“Everything is possible in football. Nowadays you can’t predict what’s going to happen. Al Hilal will fight and win it because in football it’s possible to do anything when you work hard and believe in yourself.”
