Identity Of Close Associate Killed Alongside South African Rapper, AKA, Revealed (Photo)

The close associate who was killed alongside South African rapper, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes popularly known as AKA, has been identified as his best friend, named Tebello Motsoane also known as Tibz.

Naija News earlier reported that AKA on Friday night was shot dead on Florida Road.

According to reports by the police in Durban, the rapper was reportedly killed in a drive-by shooting on Florida Road.

Reports had it that AKA was shot by persons in two cars around 10 pm on Friday.

It was reported that AKA was standing outside the Wish Restaurant when he was gunned down in a drive-by shooting.

Another person believed to be the rapper’s bodyguard got injured, while an unknown person believed to be a close friend of AKA was also killed.

However, it has turned out that his long-time friend and former manager, Tibz, is the reported bodyguard killed alongside the ‘All Eyes On Me’ hitmaker.

The duo started off together doing events with Tebello Motsoane managing AKA at some point before he followed his childhood dream and became a chef.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the ALS Paramedics, Garrith Jamieson, said Florida Road had been closed off after the shooting incident.

Jamieson said amongst the deceased was a “famous rapper”.
