Wike, Uzodinma, Mbah... - IPOB Releases List Of Top Politicians, Others Allegedly Working Against Release Of Nnamdi Kanu

Aloy Ejimakor, the Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has reacted to those insisting that the Federal Government conforms to the Supreme Court judgment on the deadline extension of the old naira notes.

The lawyer urged that those telling the Federal Government to obey the ruling of the Supreme Court should tell the government to also release the IPOB leader.

Naija News recalls that the Supreme Court temporarily prohibited the banning of the old naira notes from February 10, 2023.

A seven-member panel led by Justice John Okoro, halted the Federal Government’s move through an exparte application brought by three northern states of Kaduna, Kogi and Zamfara.

Nigerians who are currently undergoing great economic hardship due to the cashless policy and scarcity of Naira joyfully urged the Federal Government to obey the apex court.

Reacting via a tweet, Ejiomakor pleaded with Nigerians to extend the same vigor in their demands to the call for the release of the IPOB leader.

He wrote: “Those asking the Federal government to obey the Supreme Court judgment extending the deadline on old Naira notes should also ask the Federal government to comply with the Court/Tribunal rulings that called for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. All judgments are created equal.”
