2023: No Amount Of Conspiracy Will Stop Tinubu’s Victory – Akeredolu Continues Push For Southern Presidency

As the 2023 general election draw closer, the Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has continued to push for the southern presidency agenda, saying it is time for the south to produce a president.

The governor has again called on the people of his state not to relent in the struggle for the southern presidency by canvassing for support for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.

According to him, the North had produced the president for eight years, hence it was the turn of the South to also occupy the presidency.

Naija News gathered that Akeredolu made the submission when he spoke at the APC Ondo North Senatorial campaign rally held in Owo.

The governor claimed that no amount of gimmicks and conspiracy could scuttle Tinubu’s victory because his time has come.

He was optimistic that the nationwide acceptability given to the APC flagbearer was already a signal of victory at the forthcoming polls.

The governor, who guaranteed the progress of the country if Tinubu wins appealed to the people to go out en masse to vote for the APC from Tinubu to the House of Assembly candidates.

He stated that “Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu is tested and trusted. He has been governor of Lagos and we know how he transformed the state. I can assure you, Nigeria will move forward under Tinubu as president.”

Akeredolu called on the people of Owo, Ose and Akoko to vote massively for the senatorial candidate of the party, Pastor Jide Ipinsagba, as well as all the House of Representatives candidates of the party.
