The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu held his campaign rally in Kwara State on Tuesday, January 7, 2023.

Naija News reports that many of his supporters came out in their numbers to show their support for the former Lagos State Governor.

This is despite the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari who was billed to lead the campaign but is currently out of the country on another assignment.

The APC had earlier on Monday announced a postponement of the rally due to Buhari’s absence but minutes after the initial announcement, the party disclosed that the rally would proceed on Tuesday (today) as planned.

The residents of the state trooped out in their numbers to welcome the APC presidential candidate as he, his running mate Kashim Shettima, the party chairman Abdullahi Adamu, Information and Culture Minister, Lai Mohammed, and other chieftains arrived in Ilorin, the state capital.

The APC delegation was received at the airport by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
