Premier League club, Wolves have reached an agreement with French club Paris Saint Germain for the services of Spanish star Pablo Sarabia.

Wolves will pay PSG the sum of £4.4 million to sign Pablo Sarabia who spent the 2021-2022 season on loan at Sporting Lisbon.

The 30-year-old right-winger is expected in England to have his medical on Tuesday. Afterward, the Spain international will sign a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Premier League side.

He moved to PSG in 2019 from Sevilla, and in 35 Ligue 1 games since then, he has scored 11 goals.

Pablo Sarabia who has played in virtually all of Spain’s age-grade teams made his international debut on September 5, 2019. Since then, the Real Madrid graduate has scored 9 goals and made 26 appearances for Spain’s senior team.

Because of his involvement with the national age-group teams, Wolves manager Julen Lopetegui is familiar with Sarabia, and they briefly crossed paths at Sevilla.

Before joining PSG, Sarabia had never participated in a competitive match for Lopetegui’s Sevilla.

Naija News recalls that Wolves signed Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha from Atletico Madrid on a temporary loan deal in December. On Friday, the club completed the acquisition of Gabon midfielder Mario Lemina from Nice. Hence, Sarabia will be the club’s third signing so far in this winter transfer window.
