A few months before his current tenure expiration, Kwara State Governor, Abdul Rahman AbdulRazaq, has appointed Moshood Alaka as his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Interparty Affairs.

Alaka’s appointment was confirmed in a statement on Friday by the State Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Abdulrahman Babatunde.

Noting that the appointment takes effect from January 6, 2023, Babatunde said Alaka was picked for the position based on the excellent report of his loyalty, steadfastness and favourable disposition to the course of the Abdulrazaq administration.

He said: “It is my expectation that you will bring all these sterling qualities to bear on your assignment in a way that this administration’s desire to take Kwara State to a greater height will be realised.

“Furthermore, the appointment is a public trust. Therefore, it is hoped that you will justify the confidence reposed in you in the discharge of your responsibilities.

“In addition to the aforementioned, you should also make sure that you are guided by the rules and regulations of your new office and strictly adhere to the extant laws of the Office.”

While congratulating the appointee, Babatunde urged Alaka to immediately indicate his acceptance of the appointment in writing to the appropriate office within 48 hours of confirmation of the letter.
