Supporters of the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and his running mate Datti Baba-Ahmed have stormed the campaign rally at Michael Okpara Square, Enugu, creating an electrifying atmosphere.

Naija News reports that this is coming barely 24 hours after the All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer, Bola Tinubu held his campaign rally at the venue.

It is no doubt that Peter Obi is really a sensation as mammoth crowd turned up for the campaign rally on Thursday, January 12, 2023.

The presence of the supporters caused heavy traffic gridlock at the entrance of Micheal Okpara Square with everyone eager to have a glimpse of Obi.

In one of the videos sighted online, Peter Obi‘s vehicle was surrounded by the huge crowd as he struggled to make his way to the podium.

Peter Obi Would Be Criticised More Than Any Politician

Meanwhile, Human Rights activist and social critic, Aisha Yesufu has said the Labour Party presidential candidate (LP), Peter Obi, would be more criticized because Nigerians expect more from him.

The activist took to the micro-blogging platform Twitter to say Obi would be held accountable because he would not be compared with any past leader of Nigeria.

According to her, Obi will be measured based on the standard of the best leaders in the world and not by past Nigerian leaders.
