APC Presidential Candidate, Tinubu Felicitates Lawan On 64th Birthday

The All Progressives Congress (APC) 2023 presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, has felicitated the President of the Nigeria Senate, Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, on his 64th birthday anniversary.

In a congratulatory message on Thursday, the former Governor of Lagos State described Lawan as a committed nationalist and accomplished lawmaker.

Naija News reports that today, January 12, mark’s Senator Lawan’s birthday anniversary.

Joining the host of other dignitaries in celebrating the lawmaker, Tinubu said the Yobe-born politician had, over the years, demonstrated love for his country and people by committing himself to improve democracy and good governance through lawmaking.

“Your service to the nation and commitment to our great party, the APC, are unparalleled through these years of service.

“My family and I felicitate with you on this milestone and we pray that Almighty Allah will increase you in good health for greater service to this country,” the APC presidential candidate noted.

2023: APC Has Set Nigeria Backward For Over 50 Years – Ayu

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Iyorchia Ayu, said on Wednesday that the APC administration had set the country backwards for over 50 years with its failed programmes and policies.

Naija News reports that Ayu stated this yesterday during the inauguration of the multi-billion naira Ogheye Floating Market and other projects in Delta State.

The PDP chairman also urged Nigerians to support his party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and his mission to rescue and rebuild the nation.

Ayu asserted that the state Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, earned the party’s vice-presidential ticket for the forthcoming general election due to his outstanding works and contributions to the party.

He also described the governor as “a brilliant and articulate statesman” who has continued to offer greater services to his people, the party and the country.
