Media personality, Daddy Freeze has condemned Nigerian singer, Olawale Ashimi, popularly known as Brymo, over his anti-Igbo comments.

Naija News earlier reported that the artist, who has been against the presidential ambition of the Labour Party flagbearer, Peter Obi, came under fire for claiming that an Igbo presidency would just be a “pipe dream” because of the drive for Biafra.

As long as there (are) talks by prominent people from Igboland about Biafra, an Igbo presidency will be a pipe dream,” he had tweeted.

Unperturbed with the heavy backlashes his tweets stirred, Brymo had blurted out against Igbos on Sunday in another tweet: ‘F*ck The Ndi Igbo !! .. To H*ll With It!!”

Despite the backlash from fellow celebrities and fans, Brymo has continued to maintain his stand, adding that he was not sorry over his comments which were tagged “anti-Igbo.”

Speaking on the development on Wednesday, Daddy Freeze, via his Instagram, urged Brymo to apologize to the Igbos or face the implications.

He wrote: “Dear Brymo, I respect you. Don’t throw that respect down the drain. I know you have the right to an opinion. However, this isn’t an opinion, this is ‘H8’ speech and will cost you your fans and followers. I would recommend an apology to the igbos.”
