The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, has arrived in Enugu State for the party’s campaign rally.

Naija News reports that the APC presidential candidate was received at the Enugu International Airport by Governors Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, former Senate President, Ken Nnamani, and other APC chieftains in the South East.

Tinubu was was accompanied by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State and his Jagawa counterpart, Abubakar Badaru, alongside other APC national leaders.

The presidential campaign rally is scheduled to take place today, January 11, 2023, at the Michael Okpara Square, Enugu.

Following Tinubu’s arrival in the state, party supporters and members have stormed the venue of the campaign rally and creating a fanfare atmosphere.

The presence of the supporters caused heavy traffic gridlock within the Independence Layout. As early as 9 am, the entire area was packed with supporters clad in different colours and brooms, chanting solidarity songs for Tinubu and APC.

Armed security personnel, first aid and emergency responders, were stationed at different strategic points to ensure adequate protection of lives and property.

Obasanjo, Atiku Squandered PTDF Money – Tinubu

Meanwhile, Tinubu has accused former president Olusegun Obasanjo and his Vice President, Atiku Abubakar of financial recklessness.

Addressing party members and supporters on Tuesday during a presidential rally in Damaturu, the Yobe State capital, Tinubu alleged that Obasanjo and Atiku squandered the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF).

Tinubu alleged that the former president and Atiku, who is now the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) shared the PTDF money and started buying cars for their girlfriends.

According to the former governor of Lagos State, Obasanjo and Atiku later argued and fought about the PDTF money, instead of using it for the purpose intended.
