Yul Edochie Recounts Last Moment With AMAA founder, Peace Anyiam-Osigwe Before Shocking Death

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has recounted his last moment with late founder of the prestigious Africa Movies Academy Awards (AMAA Awards), Peace Anyiam-Osigwe.

Recall, this platform reported that the Chief Executive Officer, AMAA Peace Anyiam-Osigwe, passed away at the St. Nicholas Hospital, Lagos, on Monday, January 9, after a brief illness.

Her colleague, Obi Emelonye confirmed her death, saying, “Thank you and good night dada Peace.”

The family of the late iconic producer also released a statement to confirm the death of the respected filmmaker who was also the President of the Association of Movie Producers, AMP.

Reacting to her death, Yul Edochie via his Instagram revealed he only just had a phone conversation with the deceased weeks ago.

He also claimed that she commended his works after telling him about her plans for Nollywood in 2023.

He wrote: “Life is so uncertain. Just few weeks ago I had a phone conversation with her where she told me the plans she had for Nollywood in 2023 and commended me for my work. Today she’s gone. Rest well Madam Peace Anyiam-Osigwe. May God grant your family the strength to bear the loss”.
