2023: Bola Tinubu Meets APC Governors In Abuja

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu on Tuesday met with governors elected on the platform of the ruling party.

Tinubu’s meeting with the APC Governors is coming a few weeks before the 2023 presidential election in the country.

The former governor of Lagos State held the meeting to strategize on how the ruling party will retain power in 2023.

President Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure will end in 2023 May, after serving two tenures in office.

Those in attendance at the meeting are the vice presidential candidate of the ruling party, Kashim Shettima, the Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi, Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, the Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong, Governor of Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu and several others.

At the time of filing this report, the details of the meeting have not been released.

Bola Tinubu Yet to Sign Peace Accord, Aide Reveals Why

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is yet to append his signature to the Peace Accord aimed at encouraging the peaceful conduct of the election.

Naija News reports that the leadership of the National Peace Committee (NPC) dispose this 46 days to the presidential poll, which is scheduled to be held on the 25th of February.

The committee revealed that the space allotted to the APC presidential candidate to sign remains empty.
