Fani-Kayode Mocks Atiku, PDP Leaders Over Protest At INEC Headquarters

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has claimed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, is terribly sick and currently seeking medical treatment in the United Kingdom (UK).

Recall that some reports emerged on Sunday that the PDP flagbearer is sick and has been flown to London, the United Kingdom, for medical treatment.

SaharaReporters quoted a source as saying that the Waziri of Adamawa was flown from Dubai, United Arab Emirates to the UK last weekend amid presidential campaign rally schedules.

However, a contrary submission was made by the Director of Public Affairs of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Dino Melaye.

In a statement on Sunday evening, Melaye said Atiku Abubakar is hale and hearty and was invited by the British Government, urging Nigerians to disregard contrary reports making the rounds.

However, Fani-Kayode dismissed Melaye’s claim in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle on Sunday, saying that the former Vice President is sick and currently in London for treatment.

The Director of Special Projects and New media of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council added that Atiku is on his way to beg British Members of Parliament for their support.

He wrote: “Yet again Mr. Privatise Everything fell dangerously ill & ran to Dubai for a “stich it up” procedure. Watch how he walks & you will know what’s going on. Now he is on his way to the UK to beg British MP’s for their support. Must he bend the knee for the Brits too? Truly shameful.
