President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday attended the presidential rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to support the presidential candidate of the party, Bola Tinubu.

Naija News had earlier reported that President Buhari who has been absent from the previous APC rallies for a while stormed Adamawa on Monday.

Buhari during the event endorsed the former Governor of Lagos State for the presidency, while he endorsed the governorship candidate of the party, Aisha Binani as well as all other candidates of the APC for the 2023 election.

The event was attended by Tinubu’s running mate, Kashim Shettima, the National Chairman of the ruling party, Abdullahi Adamu and several stakeholders of the party.

Meanwhile, human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju on Monday reacted to the moment some supporters of the ruling party were shouting the name of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar despite the presence of President Buhari at the event.

Adeyanju in a post on his Twitter account wondered how Buhari has lost his political strength ahead of the 2023 general elections.

He wrote, “At the APC rally today in Yola, Adamawa with Buhari present, the crowd kept shouting Sai Atiku. How are the mighty fallen, a whole Buhari!”
