2023: Atiku Set To Arrive London, To Meet British Govt Officials

The Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, is scheduled to arrive in London, United Kingdom, today (Monday) for a meeting with the British Government.

Naija News reports that the spokesman for the former Vice President, Paul Ibe, made this known in a tweet shared via his Twitter handle on Sunday, January 8, 2023.

This is amidst the reports that the PDP flagbearer is sick and has been flown to London, the United Kingdom, for medical treatment.

It was gathered that the Waziri of Adamawa was flown from Dubai, United Arab Emirates to the UK last weekend amid presidential campaign rally schedules.

But according to Ibe, the PDP flagbearer will meet with some British government officials on Tuesday and Wednesday in London.

The media aide also faulted reports that his principal is sick and was flown to London from Dubai for medical treatment.

He wrote:  said: “For the avoidance of doubt, H.E @atiku, Presidential candidate of the @OfficialPDPNig and former VP of Nigeria, 1999-2007 will be arriving in London on Monday, 9th of January for meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday on the invitation of the British Government.”
