Why Davido Completed Chioma’s Traditional Wedding Rites (Photos)

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly called Davido, has completed the traditional marriage rites of his fiance, Chioma Avril Rowland.

Naija News understands that Davido and Chioma held their registry wedding on November 2022, in the wake of their child’s death, Ifeanyi.

According to Nigerian Journalist, Stella Dimoko Korkus, the ‘Assurance’ crooner paid Chioma’s bride’s price in full to Umunna in Owerri Nkworji Ezeala, Odu village Nkwerre local government area in Imo state.

Chioma’s father who was captured in a white outfit was in the village during the festive period of 2022 and on January 3, 2023, where he settled the Umunna and Umuada.

Apart from settling the Umunna and Umuada rites, Davido ensured that even the children got a share in the bride price.

The aforementioned source noted that the rites were done to allow the Adeleke’s family to bury their son, Ifeanyi, because, in Chioma’s village, Davido cannot bury the child’s corpse until the mother’s bride price is paid in full.

Recall that the singer and his lover, lost their son, to a drowning accident on October 31, 2022, at their home in Lagos.

Dotman Begs American Wife For Divorce

Meanwhile, Nigerian singer, Olatunji Oladotun Alade, popularly known as Dotman seems to be having issues in his marriage as a video of him and his American wife, Madison in a heated argument has gone viral online.

The singer and his wife were seen arguing fiercely during an Instagram Live session.

During the course of the argument, Dotman could be heard urging his wife to facilitate their divorce.

His wife could also be heard screaming at the top of his voice.
