A 21-year-old undergraduate, Lois Azurfa who was abducted in the Abuja-Kaduna train attack has narrated her ordeal while in their den.

Recall that terrorists on the 28th of March, 2022 killed and abducted passengers on the Abuja-Kaduna train.

Azurfa while sharing her experience while in captivity for 191 days said the terrorist commander offered to marry her.

The victim speaking on her ordeal in an interview with Punch said the terrorist commander approached her because she was the youngest and a Christian.

According to Azurfa, she told him that she can not marry him because she is still young and barely knew them.

She noted that having rejected their offer they kept coming with threats.

Azurfa said, “He approached me, that he is one of of their superiors, their commander, so he approached me because I was the youngest there and then I’m actually a Christian. He approached me and he said he liked me and wanted to marry me and keep me in the camp.

“I told him I could not because I’m still young and then I could not just take that decision because I barely knew them and the fact that they were my abductors.

“And then why would you just offer to marry me and then I would still accept? So at that point I actually rejected but then they subsequently kept coming with threats.”
