‘You Need Prayers Now More Than Ever’ – PDP Presidential Campaign Council Mocks Wike

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council has said Govenror Nyesom Ezenwo Wike of Rivers State needs prayers now more than ever.

Naija News reports that the chairman of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council in Rivers, Senator Lee Maeba, stated this in a statement made available to newsmen in Port Harcourt on Monday.

Maeba urged Nigerians to remain consistent and resolute by voting massively for the PDP and its flagbearer, Atiku Abubakar, in the February 25th presidential election.

The PDP chieftain also advised the citizens to stand on the right side of history by voting out the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Aso Rock over its abysmal performance in the last seven and half years.

The statement reads in part: “As we return all gratitude to the Almighty God for granting us life into a new year, I urge you all to stand on the right side of history as you remain consistent and resolute in maintaining the democratic history of our dear State by voting massively for the presidential and vice presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, His Excellencies Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa in the February 25th presidential election.

“At the same time, I beseech you all to pray for the governor of our dear state, Chief Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, as you all know that he needs our prayers now than ever before.”
