Nigerian international, Emmanuel Dennis who joined Nottingham Forest from Watford on August 13, 2022, is allowed to join another club in this January transfer window.

Reports in England confirmed that Nottingham Forest are prepared to listen to offers for Emmanuel Dennis despite only signing him last summer for £15 million.

The club wants to sell him because the 25-year-old Nigerian striker has failed to make an impact and the club want to streamline their squad to give room for new players this January.

The hierarchy of the club sees Dennis as a big disappointment since he arrived as part of a major overhaul at Forest in August.

Dennis has mustered just three Premier League starts and has scored one goal. He has played a total of 14 games (625 minutes) in all competitions in which he recorded a goal and provided two assists.

Having started the season with Watford, playing a handful of games in the Championship for them before making the move to Forest, moving Dennis on becomes more complicated.

The available options for the Nigerian international are to move to a club outside England, or if he wants to remain in the country, he would only be eligible to return to Watford, given players cannot play for three teams in the same season as per FA rules.

Forest’s Sam Surridge is another that could find himself heading for the exit door as Forest look to make room for more signings, with head coach Steve Cooper eager to add to his squad this January.
