The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, on Sunday, released prophecies for the year 2023, leaving out Nigeria, especially the 2023 general elections.

Usually, Pastor Adeboye would give prophecies about the World, Nigeria and RCCG.

However, despite the anticipation and curiosity of many, the clergyman did not speak expressly about Nigeria nor mention any possible outcome of the forthcoming presidential and general elections.

After giving his prophecies concerning the world, individuals and general at the Cross-Over service at the Redemption City yesterday, Adeboye said his followers and many Nigerians were expecting him to tell them what would happen in the country during the forthcoming elections and others.

He said: “Is that all? You may be asking.” Adeboye recalled that about three days ago, the police in Ghana threatened to arrest pastors who would prophesy negative things about the country.

“Ghana is not far from Nigeria,” Adeboye said, insinuating that the police in Nigeria might move against him if he should drop the powerful prophecies about Nigeria, so he opted not to do so at all.

Meanwhile, the renowned cleric had said earlier that God told him that the weather pattern across the world would be more erratic.

“The weather condition will not be very nice in some places, but we are trusting God it will be nice wherever we are,” Adeboye said in the 2023 prophecies.

He added that God told him that the world would be relatively more peaceful this year.
