Tinubu, Badaru, Ribadu In Mecca For Umrah (Photo)

The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu is currently in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

Naija News learnt that Tinubu performed Umrah (Lesser Hajj) alongside the Governor of Jigawa State, Abubakar Badaru.

Former presidential candidate of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, Nuhu Ribadu was also in Mecca at the weekend.

The visit of the former Governor of Lagos State is coming few weeks to the 2023 presidential election.

Tinubu in the 2023 race will be contesting against the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, flagbearer of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso and several others.

The Atiku Presidential Campaign Organization has claimed that eleven Governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) are reportedly working underground for the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.

Daniel Bwala, spokesman of the Atiku Campaign Organisation told Daily Independent that as at first week of December 2022, 37 senators and 15 House of Representatives elected under the platform of APC are working for Atiku’s victory in the 2023 presidential election.

The PDP stalwart stated this while responding to an interview by a former commissioner for Information in Edo state, Prince Kassim Afegbua who claimed that he had it on good authority Atiku met with three APC governors in Dubai.
