JUST IN: Again, Buhari Makes Fresh Appointment 12 Days To Vaccate Office

President Muhammadu Buhari has said that the Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello disobeyed him by naming a project after him in the state.

Naija News reports that the president made this disclosure at the commissioning of some legacy projects in Kogi State on Thursday.

According to him, he has always attempted to stop governors and ministers from naming projects after him, but Bello went ahead to name Muhammadu Buhari Square and Civic Centre after him.

The president on Thursday commissioned a new Confluence University of Science and Technology at Osara, Reference Hospital at Okene, and township road networks in Idah, Okene and across the three senatorial districts.

Other projects which the president commissioned include the Ganaja Flyover, Model Science Secondary School and the Muhammadu Buhari Square and Civic Centre in Lokoja.

“I thank the Governor and the people of Kogi state for naming it (Muhammadu Buhari Square and Civic Centre) after me. Here, I have to digress; I attempted to stop governors and ministers from naming projects after me, but the Governor disobeyed me here”, President Buhari added.

Hitherto the president’s arrival in the state, information emerged that a bomb explosion reportedly killed three people in Kogi State.

Naija News gathered that the bomb exploded in the Okene area of the state on Thursday morning. It was learnt that the incident happened at the Oyinoyi’s Palace in Okenne Local Government Area of the state.
