2023: Shine Your Eyes, PRP Candidate Tells Nigerians, Don’t Accept Bribes To Extend Your Suffering

A call has gone out to Nigerians by the Katsina State governorship candidate of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Imran Jino, to shine their eyes to elect credible leaders at the polls next year.

Jino said it would be better if Nigerians shun bribes and vote buyers during the 2023 general election in order not to extend their days of suffering.

According to him, Nigerians who accept bribes from vote buyers would extend their sufferings after the election when such people no longer care about them.

Naija News learned that Jino noted that Katsina State needed someone who has the capacity to move the state forward and improve the living conditions of the people, and that is why electorates have to “shine their eyes to elect credible candidates.”

He advanced that there is a need for the elites, traditional rulers and religious leaders to be upright because rural dwellers makeup up 70% of the population and “are lagging behind in every aspect of life.”

He maintained that these rural dwellers are always at the receiving end of issues like insecurity, hunger, water, electricity, and telecommunications, among others.

Jino submitted that “They have the responsibility of sensitising their followers on doing the needful during the election. If the state goes back, it will be held responsible.

“If you say you will collect a token to cast your vote to unqualified persons, you will perpetually be in the rat race.

“We will pray for you when we see you suffering because we don’t have the capacity to help since we don’t have power.”
