2023: PDP, APC Has Stopped Campaigning, Peter Obi Is Now The Focus – Peter Okoye Tells Obidients To Be Happy

Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye, also known as Mr P, has come out to assert that the whole elite and political class has one aspiration now and that is to stop the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

Naija News gathered that the singer took to the micro-blogging platform Twitter on Thursday to boast about the fact that both the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have almost stopped their campaigns to focus on Obi.

Mr P said it was a thing that supporters of Obi who are popularly known as Obidients should be proud of.

Naija News reported on Tuesday that the singer had opined that Obi, is a threat to other presidential candidates.

The singer’s claim was coming in the wake of the call that the former Governor of Anambra State should withdraw from the presidential race ahead of the 2023 election.

In a post shared on Twitter, Mr P questioned why Kwankwaso, Sowore, and other politicians are not asked to withdraw except Peter Obi.

According to the singer, many people have come to terms that Obi is a threat to other political parties.

He tweeted: “Why are they not advising Kwankwaso, Sowore, or any other politician to withdraw from the race? Why @PeterObi? They know he is a threat. Dear frustrated Nigerians, take your anger to the BALLOT BOX come February 2023 and Vote for @NgLabour @PeterObi it’s Nigerians’ turn.

“The cabals and beneficiaries of the corrupt state of Nigeria do not want to see it change. It does not matter wether they’re Igbo, Yoruba or Hausa, when it comes to ensuring power remains with them, they unite against Nigerians! Now that the Youths are United they are afraid.”

However, in his latest tweets about the Labour Party flag bearer, the singer claimed that all the other 18 presidential candidates have stopped their campaigns to focus on Obi.

He wrote, “So there are 18 Presidential candidates running for 2023 General election. The whole elite and political class aspiration is to stop @PeterObi. PDP and APC have virtually stopped campaigning. The focus right now is Obi. If u are OBldient, this should make you happy.”
