Fresh information has emerged that a street is to be named after the slain 41-year-old lawyer, Bolanle Raheem.

Naija News gathered that the Chairman of Eti-Osa East Local Council Development Area, John Campos gave the directive on Wednesday for a street to be named after the pregnant lawyer who was killed by a police officer on Christmas day.

Campos made the pronouncement when he visited the family of Raheem today.

This development is coming barely three days after the lawyer was shot by a cop on Christmas Day while trying to make a U-turn at the Ajah Bridge.

The brutal killing of the lawyers has attracted several reactions as the police officer who shot her is said to have been suspended.

Naija News earlier reported that the Lagos State Police Command has disclosed that they have concluded investigations over the unfortunate death of legal practitioner, Bolanle Raheem.

The State’s Police Spokesperson, SP Ben Hundeyin made this known where he revealed that upheld recommendations will be sent to the Police Service Commission for a final verdict.

“The Investigation report is out and it has been forwarded to the IGP. The query and recommendation have also been forwarded. So, we have done our part from Lagos and those are two things that are required of us.

“The next step is for the IGP to put out their recommendation, or uphold our recommendation. Then it will be sent to Police Service Commission for review and final verdict,” Hundeyin disclosed.

In the midst of all the unfolding developing around the death of the lawyer, Campos in the bid to immortalize her said a street would be named after her in the Eti-Osa LGA of the state.

However her husband, Gbenga Raheem said nothing could be done to bring back his wife, as he was said to have appealed for calm.

Until her death, the deceased was the Chief Executive Officer of Croston Homes and co-founder, of City Building, a real estate and property development company.
