The negotiation between Arsenal football club and the representatives of Mykhailo Mudryk is still waxing strong even though the parties involved are finding it difficult to agree on financial terms.

Both the transfer value of Mykhailo Mudryk and the deal’s financial terms are in dispute. Amid that, sources close to the negotiation claimed that his club, Shakhtar Donetsk has rejected Arsenal’s opening offer of approximately £55 million plus add-ons.

A report by Sky Sports claimed that there is cautious hope that a deal may be reached, with Arsenal believed to be pleased by the player’s willingness to join.

On Boxing Day, Mykhailo Mudryk shared a photo on Instagram while watching Arsenal play West Ham on television.

Raphinha, a former Leeds winger who ultimately signed a £55 million deal to join Barcelona last summer, was a top transfer priority for Arsenal in the summer as they sought to reinforce their forward line. As it stands, the Premier League club won’t want to miss out on signing Mykhailo Mudryk.

Arsenal is thought to be in the perfect position to sign Mudryk since they have been keeping an eye on the international from Ukraine.

The Ukrainian forward is not thought to be a direct replacement for Gabriel Jesus, who is anticipated to return before the season’s end.
