Six Popular Nigerian Celebrities Who Escaped Sudden Death In 2022

It is a few days to the end of year 2022 and many people have different reasons to be thankful to God for keeping them alive.

In this article, Naija News highlights six Nigerian celebrities who escaped death in a ghastly accident.

1. Dunsin Oyekan: On September 3, 2022, popular gospel singer, Dunsin Oyekan survived a ghastly accident along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway while traveling from Lagos to Ibadan, the Oyo State capital for a church ministration.

Dunsin, however, escaped unharmed in the life-threatening accident.

2. Oga Sabinus: Nigerian skit maker, Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, popularly known as Oga Sabinus,  survived a car accident on Sunday, September 11, 2022.

A suspected drunk driver rammed into Sabinus’ car from the other side of the road. The accident left his car damaged, but he survived.

3. Lateef Adedimeji: The popular Nollywood actor, earlier in December 2022, took to his Instagram page to express appreciation to God for sparing his life following a failed car break incident that almost took his life.

4. Ayo Animashaun: Nollywood actor and producer, Ayo Animashaun on Thursday, December 22, 2022, narrated how he escaped death after a truck driver rammed into his car on his way back to Lagos from Ibadan.

Ayo noted that, at the point of the collision, he saw his life journey flash through his eyes, adding that he learned an important lesson about how a human person could lose everything they have worked for in split second.

5. Portable: Fast-rising singer, Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as Portable on May 28th, 2022, escaped death after he was involved in a terrible accident.

The singer took to his Instagram page to express his gratitude to God for escaping what he claimed to be a trap by the evildoers.

6. Burna Boy: Grammy award-winning singer, Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, was on Saturday night, February 26, 2022, involved in an accident with his Ferrari.

According to the 30-year-old, he crashed his Ferrari and sustained little injury.
