Mixed Reactions Trail Basketmouth’s Marriage Crash After 12 Years

Nigerian comedian, Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth, has sparked mixed reactions online after announcing his separation from his wife, Elsie after 12 years.

Naija News earlier reported that the father of two in a statement shared via his Instagram page on Thursday urged the public to respect their privacy as they venture into their separate new lives apart.

This comes barely three months after Basketmouth celebrated his wife’s 44th birthday on September 14, 2022, but failed to celebrate their wedding anniversary on November 6, 2022.

The comedian’s post sparked reactions online while some netizens expressed disbelief over the news others claimed celebrity marriage crashes have been on the increase this year.
