The year 2023 will be a big year for female golfers in Europe as a record prize pool of 35 million euros has been set aside for the ladies’ European tour in the coming year.

This is the first time in the history of the ladies European tour that such a huge prize pool has been set aside for the tour.

Initially, the highest prize pool ever offered for the tour was 24.5 million euros which was the pool for the 2022 ladies’ European tour.

This means that the prize pool has witnessed a £10.5 million increment for the forthcoming edition of the tour.

Twenty-one countries will be visited throughout the 2023 tour, with Finca Cortesin, Spain, hosting the Solheim Cup in September.

“There’ll be even higher profile opportunities for our role models, with more total prize money,” said the tour’s chief executive Alexandra Armas.

The Andalucia Costa del Sol Open de Espaa, which takes place in November, marks the end of the 2023 Ladies European Tour.

Linn Grant of Sweden is the reigning champion of the Ladies European tour. She won the title less than two years after gaining entrance into the tour.

Both Linn Grant and Maja Stark, both 23 years old, are expected to play major roles in Europe’s effort to win the Solheim Cup against the United States for the third time in a row.

Linn Grant of Sweden defeated fellow countrywoman Maja Stark, also 23, to top the championship at the end of the previous season.
