Tinubu's Aide Reacts As Supreme Court Fixes Date To Deliver Verdict In Atiku, Obi’s Appeals

Nollywood actor cum spokesperson for the Labour Party (LP) presidential campaign council, Kenneth Okonkwo, has claimed the party’s flagbearer, Peter Obi, is incorruptible when compared to other party presidential candidates.

Naija News reports that Kenneth during an interview with Channels TV on Tuesday said Peter Obi’s antecedents is currently working for him.

According to him, when it comes to issues of misappropriation, the former Governor of Anambra state differs from the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Tinubu and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer, Atiku Abubakar.

Speaking on the conviction of the LP campaign council Director-General, Doyin Okupe, over money laundering, Kenneth admitted that some party members may have made honest mistakes but he insisted they are better than other parties.

He said: “Peter Obi, it is not only that he is not corrupt, he is incorruptible compared to candidates of other parties. Whenever you are talking about corruption, you just have to look down for people who can make honest mistakes just because human beings are not God.

“But when you talk about corruption, the Oba of Benin looked at my principal and said, “your integrity goes before you”.

“My principal is the type that wouldn’t even accept a plot of land due to him as a former governor, Peter Obi wouldn’t even accept pension due to him.

“You don’t compare my principal with Atiku or Tinubu when you talk of misappropriation.

“You can say some people in Labour Party have made honest mistakes by the judgement of the court but have you ever seen honesty added to those gentlemen?

“Go to the court of public opinion and you won’t find it”.
