The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has arrived in Cross River State for the continuation of his campaign.

Naija News gathered that the former Governor of Anambra State arrived in the state alongside his presidential campaign organisation.

Obi, however, will be without Doyin Okupe who has  resigned as the Director General of his campaign council, after he was sentenced to two years imprisonment over alleged money laundering.

Obi will be hoping to attract the support of the people of Akwa Ibom on Tuesday ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

The LP flagbearer in the forthcoming election would be contesting against the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, flag bearer of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso and several others.

He wrote: “Arrived in Calabar and headed to a meeting with the Traditional Council of Chiefs after engaging Cross River State Youths in an interactive session.”
