2023 Presidency: Who Is The Owner Of The Mandate? Keyamo Raises Question

The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi for the second time in four months has led the other three frontline presidential candidates in a new poll conducted in December.

Naija News learnt that Obi led the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar and presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso.

In the poll conducted by NOI Polls Limited and commissioned by Anap Foundation, Obi led Atiku, Tinubu and Kwankwaso.

Anap Foundation President, Atedo Peterside disclosed this during a programme on Channels TV on Wednesday.

According to Peterside, ahead of the 2023 presidential election, the electoral process has moved past a three-horse race to a four-horse race.

He disclosed that the former Governor of Anambra State had 23 per cent, Tinubu scored 13, Atiku got 10 and Kwankwaso polled 2 per cent in the fresh poll released in December.

Peterside further stated that mobile phones were the instruments used to conduct the poll because of increased mobile phone penetration in the country, adding that a large percentage of people are undecided.

He noted that the level of interest in the 2023 election is due to the economic, insecurity, and other challenges affecting the country.

Anap Foundation released a similar poll in September in which Obi also led the other 17 candidates in the race for Aso Rock’s top job in 2023.
