List Of APC Chieftains At Tinubu’s Meeting With Labour Leaders

Some chieftains of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) attended an interactive session between the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Labour leaders.

Naija News reports that Tinubu, on Monday, met with the leaders of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) at a town hall meeting held at Chida Hotel Conference Centre in Abuja.

The NLC President, Comrade Ayuba Wabba, and his TUC counterpart, Comrade Festus Osifo led the two labour groups in the country to the interactive session.

The APC leaders listened carefully as Tinubu made an overture to the Organised Labour to pitch their tent with him ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

Listed below are some of the APC chieftains present at the town hall meeting.

Tinubu’s running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila; Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council and Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong; Secretary of the APC Campaign Council, James Faleke; Governors Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi; Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa, and Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq of Kwara.

APC: Tinubu To Attend Town Hall Meeting Tuesday

Meanwhile, Tinubu is expected to attend a town hall meeting with party stakeholders tomorrow in Cross River State. Naija News understands that the former Governor of Lagos State is scheduled to arrive tomorrow to meet the party stakeholders in the South-South.

A statement delivered to newsmen on Monday by the APC Deputy Director, Presidential Campaign Council South-South and Chairman of the Media and Publicity Local Organising Committee, Dr Julius Okputu, confirmed Tinubu’s scheduled meeting with the party chieftains.

Okputu hailed Tinubu’s achievements as a Governor in Lagos state, saying that the presidential hopeful has set a standard for good governance.
