Aisha Yesufu Reacts As Terrorists Kill 21 Soldiers, Top Army Officers In Niger State

Popular social activist, Aisha Yesufu has said that she would vote for Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi even if a gun is pointed at her.

Responding to a questioning of who she would support if Obi terminates his presidential ambition, Aisha said that she would still vote for the former Anambra governor.

Speaking via Twitter, the activist stated that she would rather get shot than support the candidacy of Atiku Abubakar or Bola Tinubu.

Her tweet reads, “I will still vote for him on February 25th 2023, even if I have a gun on my head. I will rather they pull the trigger than support Atiku or Tinubu.

“I am a person of conviction. In 2019 I was the only one that voted for my candidate at my PU and I stayed till 2am to guard my vote”.

Buhari Returns To Nigeria

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Sunday morning, returned to Abuja after an eight-day official trip to Washington DC, the United States of America (USA) where he participated in the US-Africa Leaders’ Summit.

Naija News reports that Buhari left for the United States from his hometown in Daura Katsina State, last Sunday

The President was invited to join other African leaders for the Summit by his American counterpart, President Joe Biden. While in Washington DC, President Buhari participated in a number of high-level meetings and conversations around the US-Africa relations, speaking on critical issues affecting the black continent, including security, climate change, transnational organised crimes and more.

He was also involved in various meetings where some high-level agreements were reached with America-based businesses

The visit was wrapped up with a townhall meeting with the Nigerian community in the US. However, the President was received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Sunday morning by the governors of Kwara and Bauchi states; AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and Bala Mohammed, respectively; the Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Ramatu Tijani Aliyu.

Other high profiled personalities at the airport to receive the President were the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba; the Director-General of the Department of State Service (DSS), Yusuf Magaji Bichi; and other senior security officials.
