‘Empress Njamah’s Engagement Is Fake’ – Actress Uche Elendu Cries Out

Nollywood actress Uche Elendu has urged the public to disregard the engagement announcement of her colleague, Empress Njamah as it’s fake.

Naija News earlier reported that the 42-year-old actress and compère, via her Instagram on Thursday, shared a video rocking a ring with the caption, ”Finally off the market.”

Reacting to the development, Uche via her Instagram issued a statement noting that news of Empress’ engagement is untrue.

She revealed that the actress is being blackmailed and hence the fake engagement announcement.

“Please disregard any post from @empressnjamah’s page. She is NOT engaged, and she did not put up that post on her page, a hacker took over her phones and is blackmailing her. Ignore every post please”.

Uche Elendu issued a statement hours after celebrity fashion designer, Yomi Casual raised an alarm over an alleged intrusion on the actress’s Instagram handle.

The celebrity designer urged the public to be careful, as the account has been hacked. He wrote: ”Hello guys, I just received an info now that someone hacked this account. Please be careful what you send to the person handling this account for now.”
