The South African chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has elected new officers to handle the affairs of the party ahead of the 2023 general election.

Naija News gathered that The Nation reports that Oluwatoyin Oyekanmi emerged as the party’s South Africa new chairman.

It was also learnt that along with him, others were also elected into various offices like the National Vice Chairman (Southsouth), Nelson Binitie, National Vice Chairman (Southwest), Awosemo Abayomi, National Secretary General, Matthias Sagbo, National Deputy Secretary General, Kareem Olaore, and National Publicity SecretaryUchenna Obioha.

According to the new chairman, the officers are committed to working to ensure the victory of the APC flag bearer, Bola Tinubu at the 2023 general election.

Oyekanmi said, “The time is now for our collective success as loyal party men to ensure our candidates are elected.”

While appreciating the electoral committee, the high commissioner and party members for not letting Nigeria down, Oyekanmi called on aggrieved members to close ranks and ensure APC candidates win the forthcoming election.
