List Of Dignitaries At PDP Presidential Campaign Rally In Nasarawa State (Photos)

The presidential campaign of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday was held in Nasarawa State.

The presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar, and his running mate (Governor of Delta State), Ifeanyi Okowa were in the state to solicit support ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

The event was held in Lafia, Nasarawa State as Atiku seeks to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

President Buhari is expected to hand over in May to whoever wins the 2023 presidential election.

The former vice president is contesting against the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, the flagbearer of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), and several other presidential candidates.

The presidential campaign of the main opposition party was attended by governors elected on the platform of the party and several other stakeholders.

Naija News gathered that the event was attended by the Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa, Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom State) and the minority leader of the House of Representatives, Ndudi Elumelu.

The National Chairman of the party, Iyorchia Ayu and several other party chieftains attended the event.
