The National Director, Media and Publicity of the Asiwaju Project Beyond 2023, Adeboye Adebayo has told the Yoruba race that they should not allow the presidential bid of the All Progressive Congress (APC) flag bearer, Bola Tinubu, pass them by.

According to him, the Yoruba nation stands to benefit more from a Tinubu presidency if he is elected next year at the polls.

Naija News reports that Adebayo at a press briefing in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, noted that the advantage and opportunity Yoruba people have in Tinubu must not pass them.

He urged Yoruba people to see Tinubu’s ambition and victory in 2023 as their personal project which must come to reality, adding that he is a patriotic Nigerian using his intellectual and financial capacity for the enthronement of democracy in Nigeria.

The APC chieftain admonished the Yoruba nation to reflect on how they started in Nigeria’s politics and also reflect on where they are and where they are going and vote for their kinsmen, (Tinubu).

Adebayo, who is also a member of the Public Affairs Directorate of the APC, Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, appealed to Nigerians to set aside religion or ethnic sentiments and vote for Tinubu.

He submitted that “He is a team leader, one of the major traits of a good leader is to identify talents, Nigeria needs competent hands like Tinubu who is a talent Hunter, he deserves to be the president so that Nigeria can have good governance they are seeking for.

“His pedigree and antecedent distinguish him from other candidates, his connection and wealth of experience can not be over-emphasised in Nigeria and abroad.”
