‘You Should Be In Jail’ – Seun Kuti Dares Aisha Buhari To Arrest Him With DSS

Nigerian singer, Seun Kuti, has dared the wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, to arrest him as he slammed her for abuse of power.

Naija News reports that this is coming a few days after a final year student of the Federal University, Dutse, Aminu Adamu, was released from detention over a defamatory statement against Aisha.

Following public condemnation and outrage on social media, Aminu was released from detention after being arraigned in court.

Seun Kuti, in a video shared online, restated the words of Aminu, saying that the wife of the president is fat and lavishing on the country’s resources.

He further dared Aisha to send the Department of State Service officials (DSS) to arrest him, calling her senseless if DSS fails to arrest him.

The musician also said Aisha should be jailed for abuse of power, adding that she does not even have an office constitutionally.

Police Officer, Ebubeagu Operatives Killed

Meanwhile, there was bloodshed when operatives of the Nigeria Police Force clashed with some unknown gunmen in Ebonyi State on Monday night.

A police officer, two Ebubeagu operatives, and a hoodlum reportedly died during the confrontation.

It was gathered that the assailants stormed a police unit last night at about 8:00 PM targeting the security agents.

The security operatives who were on guard, however, engaged the gunmen, killing one of the said unknown gunmen at the Presco campus area of Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki.

Vanguard reported that following the gun battle, passersby and residents of the Abakaliki metropolis left their abodes scampering for safety at the time the incident happened.

A resident who spoke with the media platform said the gunbattle started around 8 pm when the unknown gunmen attacked police officers on their duty post in the Area.

The exchange of gunfire according to him was between members of Ebubeagu Security outfit, the Police, and the unknown gunmen.
